These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lintel ("Service"), operated by Lintel ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account registration
You must register an account to access paid features. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. Subscription and payment
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. Pay-per-report purchases provide perpetual access to the purchased report for the specified fiscal year.
3. Refund policy
Subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time and will retain access through the end of the current billing period. Pay-per-report purchases are refundable within 7 days of purchase if the report has not been downloaded.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense Lintel data without written permission
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically extract data from the Service
- Use the Service to violate any law or regulation
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the security of the Service
- Share account credentials with users outside your organization
Single-county purchases and individual subscriptions are licensed for use by one named individual. Enterprise plans are available for team use.
5. Data and intellectual property
Underlying inputs (Census ACS, HUD FMR, CBO forecasts) are public-domain government data. The Lintel projection methodology, software, branding, and presentation are our proprietary intellectual property. You may use Lintel projections in your internal underwriting and analysis materials; you may not republish them as a competing data product.
6. Disclaimers and limitations
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. See our Disclaimer for important information about how projections should and should not be used. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your dashboard.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
